#1 Christian Self-help book

This may be a completely cliché answer, but I must mention before going into the list of books written by other humans seeking self-help that the best book to read for self-care and self-help is ALWAYS 100% going to be your bible.

Looking for wisdom – Read Proverbs

Looking for encouragement – Check out Psalms

Wondering about the meaning of everything – Read the Gospels.

There is LITERALLY an answer for EVERYTHING you could ever need in it! So consider first your quiet time with God and check out your bible!

Christian self-help books to read this year

Now that I have gotten that super important disclaimer out of the way, I would like to also share this; we were made for fellowship, we were meant to read our bibles, to spend time with God, but also to share those revelations with others. The absolute best self-help books on the market generally tend to be testimonies that others are sharing.

The difference between secular self-help books and Christian self-help books is where the source of the help comes from. In solid biblical foundation self-help books, the source is ALWAYS the Lord. Instead of looking for an obscure source of power within, you are led to look to God for the answer, and guided in where in his word to find it.

This was one of the main factors I looked for in determining which books should make the cut! Check out this list, and let me know below if you check out any of the books!
