What is a Vision Board
A vision board is a visual representation of your dreams, goals, and desires. It serves as a powerful tool to display the things you are wishing for or praying for for the year to come. Often vision boards are a collage of images and words that help you put all of your goals into one place to keep them at the forefront of your mind!
By regularly looking at your vision board, you remind yourself of what you truly desire, what your perfect life could be and you can take steps toward making it a reality.
Ways to Create a Vision Board
Gone are the days when you are covetously holding on to old magazines for your vision boards. In fact, in some cases you don’t even need to physically create anything (read ditch the glitter) to have a beautiful and encouraging vision board. Here are a few ways to create a vision board for yourself!
Traditional Vision board: Create this old-school goal board with large poster boards, and magazine cutouts. This one is great for those who want a larger board that they can hang in their homes
PDF Vision board templates: All you have to do is download the vision board, print it out and add your own goals. This might be my favorite way of creating a vision board because there’s no glitter involved (yay!)
Pinterest boards: You can also follow different creatives and create an aesthetic with your own Pinterest boards. The pictures and ideas you pin become a digital vision board.
Goal Journal: Again this is one for those who are less creative inclined but still want a pen and paper form. With this style, you would answer a series of prompts that then become your vision for the new year.
Digital Board: Using an app such as Canva you can create a gorgeous vision board that can then be printed out with just a few clicks of a button. This app has different fonts and stock images for you to design the board of your dreams.
In this article we are going to focus on resources for the more traditional style of creating a vision board, so let’s dive into some awesome free printables!
