When we face these roadblocks we have to learn how to deal with the stress that comes with these changes. We have to know who we belong to and the source of our strength to keep us grounded. One of the best ways manage the stress is with prayers for uncertainty to encourage and strengthen us!

What causes uncertainty and anxiety?
Uncertainty is caused by situations of change that make us feel doubt, apprehension and fear! Feelings from these uncertain times cause us to focus more on what we do not know, instead of keeping our mind focused on what we do know.
We begin wondering how the change will affect us and our loved ones. We worry about the logistics of the change, and the inconveniences. All of these stresses add to an overall sense of anxiety and stress. Prayer during these times of uncertainty can combat this cycle.
How do we trust god in uncertain times?
We must have a habit of seeking God for peace to make sure that we are not shaken in the midst of uncertainty. Consistent prayer during times of calm are imperative to our reactions during uncertain times.
When we build a rhythm of walking with God and speaking to him regularly, we are more tuned in to His voice. A lifestyle of prayer and communion with God also allows us to see his hand in our life on a day to day basis.
Daily realization of his presence builds our trust and allows us to see him more clearly when times are uncertain. We trust Him because we have seen his faithfulness.

It is a powerful thing to be sure of the fact that God is among us. He is present, living, and active in our lives. Not only is he present, but he is rejoicing in us and calming us with his love. When the future is uncertain, trusting the power of the love of God is sustaining.

This is one of my favorite verses. It is my constant reminder that I do not need to feel any anxiety, and if I am, its because I am holding on to it. I am not releasing it and allowing God’s peace and direction to guide me to my next steps. When we humbly lay our burdens before the Father, he is faithful to give us peace that needs no explanation and transcends understanding.

When confusion and doubt threaten our peace, faith in God is our strength. Trusting his plan and his sovereignty can help us to navigate our concern for our situation. We serve the God of the Universe, the living God. Reminding ourselves of His might helps us redirect our focus when times are uncertain.
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the creator of the universe, You are the author of the constantly evolving story of our world, You are the painter of the seasons. You are the inventor of change, you imagined the Earth, spoke the word and Light, and earth, and animals and plants become. Because you said it. Dear Lord, I Pray over my relationship with . Right now there is frustration and confusion. I feel hurt and frustated by words and actions that seem out of my control. I pray that you comfort both of our hearts, soften them and give us understanding of each other. I prayer that you would let me be slow to anger and quick to forgive.

Financial instability can feel overwhelming especially in the current global climate. With so much uncertainty related to the health of family and the rocky economy we can easily get swept up in the emotion of society’s current struggle. Our trust, however, is not in stocks, finances, or the economy. Our trust is in God.
Lord in Heaven, you are my provider and my provision. You supply all of my needs, I lack nothing. You are where my help comes from. Calm my heart Lord. There is unrest in the area of my work and finances. I pray that you will give me peace when stress arises.
Remind me that you can for the lilies of the valley, and the sparrow, and you care for me. I pray that you will lead me to business partnerships that glorify you. I thank you for all that you have done for myself and my family. I ask you to be peace in the midst of my office and any discord would cease. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
